I love going here, and the rain made it easier to enjoy without crowds. The animals are well taken care of and have lots of wonderful enrichment. Great fun for kids and adults.

SLNSC is an Awesome place to visit and unwind. It sits on several acres between Squam and Little Squam Lakes in Holderness, New Hampshire. SLNSC is a neat combination of trails, zoo, educational and research facility. Wildlife trails take you through a wonderful bit of forest, with habitats containing rescued New Hampshire wildlife, educational interactive displays, and ecological awareness information. There is a store...The Howling Coyote...that has all sorts of merchandise and gifts for children and adults, and MEMBERSHIP PLANS that help maintain this Non-profit organization. If you like water...the Squam Lakes Tours give you a good hour around Squam Lake, where you experience the beauty that is New Hampshire, and the wildlife that lives there. Had a wonderful time, self guided with interactive educational displays. Lots to do and all really neat exhibits, they really have utilized simple technology throughout the entire park to really make it interactive without being overly complicated or heavily dependent upon software. Loved it highly recommended for children.

Such a beautiful place. Awesome for all ages - great place for learning, exercise, and fun. Variety of animals, plants, and things to do! Love coming here.

What a great zoo. Bedsides the beautiful animals this zoo is clean and extremely interactive for all ages. There is tons of information around the zoo providing facts about all the animals and their habitats, communities, and ecosystems. The animals are diverse ranging from aquatic to semi aquatic to terrestrial. What an awesome place! I highly recommend!
