The live animal exhibit trail and all hiking trails are OPEN every day through November 1. Trails will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays through November.

Thank you to everyone who came to the 2024 Family Picnic Fundraiser making it a SOLD OUT event. It was a fun night and we appreciate your support.
2024 Family Picnic - A Fundraiser for the Science Center
Saturday, July 20, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Join us for this family-friendly event!

The Family Picnic features food trucks, live animal programs, ice cream, lawn games, live music by the Audrey Drake Trio, and more in a fun, casual atmosphere for all ages. All food and drinks are included in the ticket price and include food from Cheese Louise, The Barn Food Truck, Pours & Petals, Tin Can Co., and SubZero Nitrogen Ice Cream. Open bar includes local beer, wine, signature cocktail, and non-alcoholic butterfly nectar for the kids.

Bring your friends and entire family to this fun event. Limited tickets are available.

Tickets: $75/ ages 21+; $30/ ages 12-20; $15/ages 6-11; Free for 5 and under.

  • 5:30 p.m. - AMERICAN KESTREL live animal program on the Bluestone Terrace
  • 6:20 p.m. - Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream presentation at the Trailhead
  • 6:30 p.m. - WOOD TURTLE live animal program on the Bluestone Terrace
  • 7:20 p.m. - Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream presentation at the Trailhead
  • 7:30 p.m. - SCREECH OWL live animal program on the Bluestone Terrace
