I wish I took the kids here when they were little! What a gem of a science center! The displays are very well planned and executed. The pathways and gardens are delightful. We really like that the animals have such large enclosures. The dinosaur special exhibit is really fun. Plenty of climbing and exploring for littles. Helpful, friendly staff/volunteers. The area around the park is really pretty too. I am looking forward to our next visit!

We spent the day at Squam Center with our 9 month old baby and it was fantastic. There is so much to do even for us adults. We learned so much in a fun and interactive way. Highly recommend! The staff are friendly and so knowledgeable. We had a great day!

Favorite place to go with the kids! We get a membership every year and it’s extremely worth it!!! Love all the animals and play areas for kids, let’s them be independent enough that moms and dads still feel good about it. I remember going here as a child and I am so thankful my kids get to as well! The trail takes about an hour ish or more depending on how long you spend at each exhibit. The dinosaurs that they have short term are some of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Over all: go here, is amazing!

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is a wonderful place for kids and adults alike. The animals are amazing and they are all rehabilitated from either injuries or abandonment at a young age. The atmosphere of this place is great and I highly recommend going and becoming a member to support all of their community efforts and animals!

Very nice place. Tons of cool local animals. Lots of fun things for the kids to do. Good facilities. Plenty of parking. Nice picnic area. Great stop for a couple hours. We used it to break up a long trip home and the kids loved it. We will definitely be back again.
