Directions to Squam Lakes Natural Science Center
Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is located in Holderness, New Hampshire, in the heart of the Lakes Region. Use the directions below or your GPS to find our campus and plan your day on the Live Animal Exhibit Trail, hiking trails, Kirkwood Gardens, and Squam Lake Cruises.
From Interstate 93 (North and South)
- Take Exit 24 (Ashland/Holderness).
- Follow Route 3 North for approximately 4 miles. Watch for a sign for Squam Lakes Natural Science Center as you approach Holderness.
- Turn left onto Route 113; our driveway is about 200 yards on the left.

Parking
- Parking is free for Squam Lakes Natural Science Center visitors during operating hours.
- Parking areas are for Science Center visitors only.
- No overnight parking.
- No boat trailers.
- Parking lot gates close at 5:30 p.m.
