Nature for Everyone Barn Bash Raises over $160K for Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center’s 60th anniversary celebration reached a major milestone with the success of its Nature for Everyone Barn Bash, a sold-out fundraising event that raised more than $165,000 to support the Science Center’s education programs and outdoor nature-based experiences.

Held at Willoughby Ridge Barn, the event brought together supporters, community members, and friends of the Science Center to celebrate 60 years of connecting people with New Hampshire’s natural world. Guests enjoyed up-close animal interactions, special programming, and a Boat Captains’ Auction, with proceeds directly supporting the Science Center’s mission.

The success of the Barn Bash reflects the strong community support behind the Science Center as it celebrates six decades of environmental education and conservation. Meredith Village Savings Bank served as the major sponsor, providing important support for the event and the Science Center’s mission.

The Science Center gratefully acknowledges the event underwriters: Bennett Family, Grossman Family Charitable Trust, Lovett Woodsum Family, The Stolper Family, Larry and Pam Tarica, Anderson Family, Sarah and Win Brown, The Conover Clan, Cathy and Rob Denious, Bruce and Betsy Whitmore, Babbie and Bill Adams, Lisa and Bill Aulet, Sandra Baker and Geoff Stewart, Carol and Marc Bard, Jane Beck, Diane Garfield and Peter Gross, Martha and Chris Grant, John and Anne Ingard, Maureen and Bob Lamb, Bill and Melanie Nesheim, Victor and Alison Pascarelli, Ilene and Ken Stern, Carol and Malcolm Stone, and Justin and Courtney Van Etten.

In-kind support was provided by Willoughby Ridge Farm, Lakes Region Tent & Event, Live Free Farm, Moulton Farms, Skål Fine Wines, Sandwich Creamery, Holderness Harbor, Belladina Coffee, Amoskeag Beverages, and Bewitched Acres.

The Nature for Everyone Barn Bash was part of the Science Center’s yearlong 60th anniversary celebration. Funds raised will help the Science Center continue providing accessible, outdoor nature-based education and experiences that inspire joy, connection, and wonder for years to come.
